Rescue work is a 24/7 commitment. It’s messy, heartbreaking, rewarding, and everything in between! There is a seemingly never-ending population of dogs in need, and it is easy to become weighed down by this reality.
It’s therefore crucial that we pause and celebrate the impact we’ve had together. As we kick off 2025, we want to reflect on the numbers that made 2024 such an incredible year for Surfers for Strays.

We invite you to join us in celebrating the accomplishments of 2024, while keeping a focused eye on the mission at hand: reducing the number of stray animals in Mexico and inspiring compassion and awareness for the humane treatment of neglected animals through education, rehabilitation and adoption programs.
