I'm a wildlife biologist from Canada, currently based in the Bay Area, in California. In my free time, I love hiking with my dog, Suerte who I adopted from SFS in 2020. Suerte is now about 6 yrs old and she is a great hiking buddy. She's super playful but is also a great brewery dog with her relaxed temperament. Her favourite snack is baby carrots!

Since adopting Suerte, I've stayed up to date with this awesome organization, through social media. A couple of months ago I saw that they were looking for remote volunteers so I jumped at the chance to help out!

I am a social media volunteer and make posts for the Instagram account, that feature dogs that are up for foster and adoption in the hopes that their new family sees them and falls in love.
